Lucy, you are 3 months old!
This past month has been so much fun with you. You've gone from that sweet, but not terribly entertaining, newborn stage to what I call the "emergence" stage...you are coming into your own little personality! It has been so fun watching you grow and change.
You weigh 9 pounds, 7 ounces and are in 0-3 month clothes. We've still been able to use some of your sister's clothes, which has actually been fun for me. I associate clothing with events and it's been cool to pull out an outfit for you and remember why/where Lyla wore the same thing.
You started giggling at 11 weeks. Melt. My. Heart. Seriously!
You are becoming more like your sister in the nap department...i.e., not loving them. You take your first nap about an hour after you wake up and typically only a couple of 45-minute naps during the day. But, you are still sleeping through the night and I am oh so grateful for that.
You are grabbing things and mouthing them frequently. Too bad you grab your hair and can't figure out how to let go...
You track sounds and sights, respond differently to mommy's and daddy's faces than to other people's, and love eating your hands. Of course, along with this, your drooling has picked right up! In addition, your feet and hands are becoming quite the visual attraction.
Mommy put too much pressure on you to roll when your sister did; so, in true 'younger sibling' fashion, you are taking your sweet time and teasing mommy with your movements. You can roll onto your side but always stop short of that final 'flip' to the other side.
You love music by Josh Turner, Miranda Lambert, The Beatles, John Lennon (solo John, not just Beatles John), and Bob Marley. You smile and giggle when mommy sings and dances with you in the mornings while we get ready for the day.
Whistling entertains you and makes you smile.
You love, love, love watching your sister and listening to her shenanigans. :-)
We love you Luc!
such a cute cute cute little girl!!
