Lyla has been such a busy girl lately and has been talking up a storm. She's said some funny things the past few days and I realized at some point I might want to remember what she was saying. This is one of those 'just-for-me-so-I-can-reminisce' posts, but you might enjoy it as well :-)
Just a few things Lyla has said the past couple of days:
- I wa see Fosty. (I wanna see Frosty.)
- Santa! I nuh Santa! (Santa! I love Santa!)
- Dada...ere ah you? (Dada, where are you?)
- Hush Pabo! (Hush Pablo!)
- Get dow Avey! (Get down Avery!)
- I nee applesauce. (Surprisingly, she says applesauce very clearly.)
- I nee cakas. (I need crackers.)
- I nee pidas. (I need pickles.)
- Re-ey, se-, go! (Ready, set, go!)
- Bye-Bye Quia (Bye-bye Quita.)
- I wa go scho. (I wanna go to school.)
- I nuh you mama. (I love you mama.)
- Rea it mama. (Read it mama.)
- I nee ro. (I need to rock.)
- I wa des. (I wanna dance.)
- Whoa!
- I nee bow. (I need a bow.)
- I nee sus. (I need shoes.)
- Ah fah dow! (All fall down!)
There are so many more I can think of, but I think those will make me laugh in a year. It's funny to me that a lot of her "I want" statements have suddenly changed into "I need" statements. She even talks herself to sleep, which does not surprise me a bit. Sometimes she sings too. It's pretty cute to listen to.
When we ask her "where's mommy's baby?" she'll lift up my shirt and point to my baby bump, then exclaim "baby!" while she vigorously shoves her finger in my belly button. Sometimes she pats and kisses, then says "baby, shhh..." So funny. :-)
Love you Lyla girl!!!
