Pumpkin Patch...

We recently took Lyla to the pumpkin patch.  It's a great little place that has animals, games, pumpkins...fun for the whole family!

This was one of the only pictures I got of Lyla in her Halloween bow.
(And doesn't she look thrilled?!)

Much to my dismay, Lyla loved the chickens.
(Birds are a no-go in this house.)

Feeding the goats (much better than chickens!)

Lyla was so very excited for a family picture!
Can you see the joy on her face?!

Not a great picture, but she really liked the wagon ride :-)

"What?  You want me to smile?"

Our little pumpkin with a great big pumpkin :-)

A fun family trip to the pumpkin patch :-)
(and a special thanks to Aunt Rachel who came with us!)

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree...

Friday Night Lights - A Poem...

The Friday night lights were back in full swing. Lyla arrived at the game asleep in her sling. All was well, the lights were bright. Little did we know that the end was in sight. The speaker came on and proclaimed domination. And that, dear friends, led to overstimulation. So we packed up our baby and checked on the time. The game started at seven-thirty, We left at seven-thirty-nine. The end.
