Homecoming Parade...

I felt like such a bad mom this year - Lyla didn't have a mum for homecoming!
Oh well, we had fun at the parade anyway :-)

The grandson of a teacher I work with showed Lyla how to gather up candy.  Miss Lyla is a quick learner and was obsessed with running out to gather it up.  (Seriously, we had to chase her a couple of times when she took off unexpectedly.)
No worries, it was all looking, no tasting.
(And now I have candy to give away for Halloween - well done Lyla!)

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree...

Friday Night Lights - A Poem...

The speaker came on and proclaimed domination. And that, dear friends, led to overstimulation. So we packed up our baby and checked on the time. The game started at seven-thirty, We left at seven-thirty-nine. The end.
