Christmas 2010, Part 2...

After a few days of car shopping and basketball games, we made our way down to Midland to spend Christmas with my side of the family. We were able to see my grandparents, my brother, sis-in-law, and nephews, and my aunt and mom. Small family, but still lots of fun. My mom cooked up a storm in the kitchen (chile rellenos, asado, rice, beans...) and therefore helped me put on a few pounds!

Lyla opened her first present at home before we left.

Paper is fun!

We paid homage to Michael Jackson over the holidays.

The obligatory milk and cookies for Santa...except we gave him chocolate milk and one cookie :-)

I LOVE Santa's milk mug!

Tough time getting a decent family pic at Mass Christmas morning.

Look how cute her outfit is :-)

Is it time to open presents?!

Lyla, the professional gift un-wrapper.

We hope you all have a very happy and blessed 2011!

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree...

How lovely are your colors :-)

Friday Night Lights - A Poem...

The Friday night lights were back in full swing. Lyla arrived at the game asleep in her sling. All was well, the lights were bright. Little did we know that the end was in sight. The speaker came on and proclaimed domination. And that, dear friends, led to overstimulation. So we packed up our baby and checked on the time. The game started at seven-thirty, We left at seven-thirty-nine. The end.
