Bittersweet...

On the 18th, we were given a going-away party by the planner of all parties - Amanda! It was great to see so many of our friends and to get a chance to hang out before we left for Hereford. As fun as it was, it was equally as tough to know that we would be leaving. (As I type this I have a classic Whitney Houston song in my head..."bittersweet memories, that is all I'm taking with me...so goodbye, please don't cry..." It changes into more of a love ballad after that, but please tell me you all know this song! I'm known for random songs entering my head all the time :-) Those of you who know me well can see me busting out into song right now!!! And trust me, I am!) Okay, back to the party - here are a few pics from the fun we had:

Our Fun Sign Thank you Amanda for our wonderful party!

Friday Night Lights - A Poem...

The Friday night lights were back in full swing. Lyla arrived at the game asleep in her sling. All was well, the lights were bright. Little did we know that the end was in sight. The speaker came on and proclaimed domination. And that, dear friends, led to overstimulation. So we packed up our baby and checked on the time. The game started at seven-thirty, We left at seven-thirty-nine. The end.
