32 Weeks...

Hello from Baby Dot!!!


She is clearly a growing girl :)


It seems crazy to us that we are 32 weeks along. We already consider ourselves a family of 3, but the reality of that will sure hit us soon! We had an ultrasound a couple of weeks ago and things looked great. Lyla apparently has a head full of hair - wonder if she'll lose any of that before she's born?! They predicted that she'll weigh between 6.5 and 7 pounds, so we might have a petite little baby (which I am okay with!). We're still working on getting her room finished - the backordered furniture doesn't really help with us moving forward though :(
Baby Dot is still active all the time. The baby bump can be seen moving from across the room! She usually moves a lot when Matt talks to her :) We can identify body parts, too, which is entertaining!

July 20, 2014 Afternoon:  Well, we moved down the hall to a different ICU room.  Our new nurse is like a drill sergeant grandma…sweet but serious. Friday Night Lights - A Poem...

The Friday night lights were back in full swing. Lyla arrived at the game asleep in her sling. All was well, the lights were bright. Little did we know that the end was in sight. The speaker came on and proclaimed domination. And that, dear friends, led to overstimulation. So we packed up our baby and checked on the time. The game started at seven-thirty, We left at seven-thirty-nine. The end.
